Document management

• Renaming documents
• Moving and copying documents
• Sharing a document
• Checking access/stop sharing
• Viewing and restoring document versions
• Deleting and restoring documents

Working in a library

• Sorting documents
• Filtering documents
• Changing views
• Creating a private view

Searching in SharePoint

• Searching across SharePoint
• Filtering search results
• Searching in a site
• Searching in a library

Upon completion of this course, participants will:

• Understand the basics of working with documents in SharePoint
• Understand how to perform focused searches within SharePoint.

Assumes little or no knowledge of the software. However, it would be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers, the windows operating system environment and Office 365.
