Cell Referencing

• Working with relative, absolute, and mixed cell references 

Functions & Formulas

• Tools for working with formulas 
• Working with Excel functions: IF, IFS*, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP* 
• Using error handling functions 

Working with List Data

• Using Flash Fill 
• Summarising data using the Subtotal feature 
• Creating and working with Excel Tables 

Getting Started with Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts

• Creating and working with Pivot Tables 
• Creating and working with Pivot Charts 
• Using slicers and the timeline to dynamically filter Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts 

Visualising Data

• Using Conditional Formatting to highlight and compare data 
• Adding Sparklines 

Restricting Entry and Protecting Data

• Using Data Validation to restrict cell entry 
• Applying cell and sheet protection 

On completion of this course, participants will have a good understanding of functions and formula and be able to sort data, filter database and create customised charts.

Completion of Excel Introduction or equivalent knowledge is required.
