Built upon seven principles, practices and processes, PRINCE2® can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. This 5-day training course includes both Foundation and Practitioner levels. Course Content
To achieve full PRINCE2® 7 certification, you must complete the full five-day course and pass both the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Day 1, 2 and 3 – Foundation Level

  • Introduction
  • Key concepts, performance aspects and characteristics of projects
  • PRINCE2® principles
  • PRINCE2® practices – Business Case, Organising, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues, Progress
  • PRINCE2® processes – Purpose, Objectives, Context, Activities, Responsibilities and Application of the practices within the process
  • Preparation for the Foundation exam

Day 4 and 5 – Practitioner Level

  • Apply PRINCE2® principles in context
  • Apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2® practices in context
  • Demonstrate an understanding of PRINCE2® requirements, recommended roles and responsibilities, approaches, key concepts and procedures
  • Assess whether an approach to applying the practices, project process activities/actions, roles and responsibilities are effective and fit for purpose, taking into consideration: the context, the PRINCE2® principles, the purpose and requirements of the practices, and the purpose, objectives and context of the processes
  • Carry out the project process activities, demonstrating an understanding of recommended associated actions, roles and responsibilities, and how the practices may be applied
  • Preparation for the Practitioner exam

Foundation Level:

  • Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2®
  • Understand how the PRINCE2® principles underpin the PRINCE2® method
  • Understand the PRINCE2® practices and how they are applied throughout the project
  • Understand the PRINCE2® processes and how they are carried out throughout the project

Practitioner Level:

  • Apply the PRINCE2® principles in context
  • Apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2® practices in context
  • Apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2® processes in context

Foundation Level:

The completion of PRINCE2® Foundation course requires a moderate level of project management understanding and experience. It is highly recommended that you have completed the Project Management course (2 day) with ATI-Mirage or have attended a course equivalent to this in the past. Please note that this is an intensive learning course and you will need to review and consolidate what you have learned in class, in your own time, in order to be well prepared to pass the online exam. You will not receive certification if you do not pass the exam.

Practitioner Level:

You must complete the PRINCE2® Foundation course prior to commencing this course. The Practitioner exam requires a strong current knowledge of the PRINCE2® textbook and this knowledge is gained in the Foundation course. Please note that this is an intensive learning course and you will need to review and consolidate what you have learned in class, in your own time, in order to be well prepared to pass the online exam. You will not receive certification if you do not pass the exam. You must successfully pass the Foundation exam before commencing the Practitioner exam.
