The Schedule 26 course is a comprehensive training program designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required for safety protocols, compliance. It aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Individuals appointed to statutory supervisor positions in Western Australian mines, such as underground supervisors, restricted quarry managers, mine air quality officers, noise officers, and electrical supervisors, are required to complete this course to comply with WHS regulations.
Yes, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successfully finishing the course and a formal statement of attainment once all assessments have been deemed to meet requirements for the units:
ATI Mirage provides all necessary course materials, including hard copies of the regulations and act, online resources, workbooks and handouts. Participants will also have access to ongoing support from trainers.
The Schedule 26 course is delivered via face to face in-person classroom setting either at ATI-Mirage’s Perth CBD training centre or on your site, with interactive sessions, practical exercises, and assessments to enhance learning.
Yes, we offer flexible delivery options for the training, including on-site delivery at a time that best suits your staff. This allows you to tailor the training schedule to meet your operational needs.
After completing the required units of competency, candidates should prepare for the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS, previously DEMIRS) legislation examination. ATI-Mirage offers exam preparation course to assist candidates in understanding and navigating the WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 and the WHS Act 2020.
