PRINCE2® 7 Foundation – Virtual Class

This is a live, facilitator-led training course delivered to you online at your computer. With our online PRINCE2® courses, you still have all the benefits of interacting with our facilitators in real-time, just with the convenience of being at your office or home desk. You can ask questions during the training and interact with other participants.

PRINCE2® is the world’s most widely adopted project management method, used by people and organisations from wide-ranging industries and sectors. It is a flexible method that guides you through the essentials for managing successful projects, regardless of type or scale. Built upon seven principles, themes and processes, PRINCE2® can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. The Foundation level requires 3 full days. To achieve Practitioner status, an additional 2 days of training and examination is required.

• Introduction
• Key concepts, performance aspects and characteristics of projects
• PRINCE2® principles
• PRINCE2® practices – Business Case, Organising, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues, Progress
• PRINCE2® processes – Purpose, Objectives, Context, Activities, Responsibilities and Application of the practices within the process
• Preparation for the Foundation exam

• Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2®
• Understand how the PRINCE2® principles underpin the PRINCE2® method
• Understand the PRINCE2® practices and how they are applied throughout the project
• Understand the PRINCE2® processes and how they are carried out throughout the project

Pre-course reading will be sent electronically to you before the commencement of the course.

The completion of PRINCE2® Foundation course requires a moderate level of project management understanding and experience. It is highly recommended that you have completed the Project Management course (2 day) with ATI-Mirage or have attended a course equivalent to this in the past. Please note that this is an intensive learning course and you will need to review and consolidate what you have learned in class, in your own time, in order to be well prepared to pass the online exam. You will not receive certification if you do not pass the exam.
